Last I was told it was all trucks, Platinums & King Ranches are only built at Dearborn in case some of you didn't know. I feel for you all I would be pissed off too.

 

I am being told the dealer built the order a week ago, and when I signed off on the preview order it was confirmed on Saturday, so honestly I am not 100% sure of what triggers the process or vin.

Dealer just called and my truck is in! They are installing LineX tomorrow and I will pick up in the afternoon on Wednesday!

 

Im sure this is nothing that can be predicted. Faulty parts or suppler shortage is usually an issue that is abrupt (IMO). My interior is black and the Lariat Leather... which may explain why XLT's and such are coming out too.. Platinum seats are different as well. I have yet to see a Lariat on the lots by me. Lets just hope this gets resolved quickly.

 

And we also don't know what that number started at (40K+) only that they are down to 26K... so they could be pumping out the fixes

 

As long as I have my truck by March, I will be happy, of course sooner would be awesome.

 

Vin #'s are usually assigned on Thursdays.

 

Get the DORA from your dealership and it will tell you exactly when the dealership ordered the truck and when Ford confirmed the order.

 

Has there been a fix and parts, or are we just waiting for them to get to our trucks?
