That is odd. I ordered 11/21 as you can see and my truck will likely be at dealer next week. ETA is 26th, but it is sitting only 3 hours away at the moment. What did you order and at what plant is it being built?

Mine's a Lariat with 502A, etc. Guess maybe lower on the "food chain" than your King Ranch. Hmm. Oh well, at least getting the VIN let's me know SOMETHING is happening.

I ordered a Lariat with the 502A also and mine as of yesterday was sitting at the rail yard waiting to get shipped. Was built on the 6th.

And according to your sig, you ordered after I did -- on 11/30? Good for you, bummer for me. I wonder what establishes the order these get in.

From what I have read they make production runs, xlt with specific options, lariat with options and next up are the lariat limited?

Sometimes it depends on dealer allocations. My guess would be your dealer had no allocations left for December and your order had to wait till January to be placed.

Just ordered my truck tonight. Lots of research and I did well on the truck but got beat up on my trade. At least as far as I was concerned.
Now I wait.

Received VIN last week from my dealer but nothing shows on ETIS. But, was able to get the window sticker this morning on research mechanics.com; VIN was not available yesterday.

Where in Canada are you? I'm in Ontario having no luck. I ordered a '16 XLT on December 3rd and still haven't received a VIN despite several emails to the dealer. They keep telling me that it hasn't been assigned yet. Keep me posted how you make out
