mustangGT90210: have you had any problems with the po-lice or any other vehicles b/c of the scatter?

I just found these ones
I don't drive with the low beams because they glare really bad, whereas the hi beams just have some glare. My hi beams are not that obnoxious on the eyes, but the low beams will blind.

I've have no issues with cops, have had the HIDs for 5 months. I've been flashed 4 times in that 5 months, but they were all by lowered looking cars that have you sitting with your eye level under my lights.

Your light pattern WILL be different than mine, '91s and '08s have very different headlights. When I got mine I aimed them down, to where I was still very happy with the output, then parked it in the street and walked ahead of it, turned around, and looked. I've found that the glare amount is between regular low and hi beams

And where did you buy your kit from?
the stock lenses on the 04-08 models don't scatter light bad at all, and when i put mine in they aimed perfectly straight down the road, both lows and highs

There's little 4mm bolts sticking around 'em I can tighten or loosen to aim

That's good to know. You guys also have a much smaller reflector for your lights. Mine's probably 3 times as big, so that's gotta add to my scatter.

I have a buddy with an 01, and they look great on his. He said his did the same thing, just went straight in and aimed straight in front of the truck. But after, he had to rig them to aim down cause those lights pointed straight on an 8" lifted truck could put someone of the road lol.

Oh yeah. My low beams with all that scatter can light up 20ish feet above my truck ahead of me. It's like 2 suns in my lights when there's stuff around me. If I'm on an open road you don't see most of it 'cause it doesn't hit anything
