All things HID here!!!
A relay allows for a higher amount of current (amps) to be "passed" to a device. Think of it as a switch using a trigger. Headlights now use relays, as they had problems in the older days burning up contacts within the headlight switch itself. Now the switch can be used as a trigger to "close" a contact in the relay, which can switch input battery to the output (device recieving the current). Anything that is 30 amps or more usually has a relay in it's circuit.
What is the point of buying a projector headlight that has spaces for 2 bulbs, but with a hid kit you only get 1 bulb? And if your bulbs also have the highbeams in, what good are they?
Im looking for projector headlights with only 1 space for a bulb and bi-xenon HID bulbs.

And where did you buy your kit from?
I can echo that. My HIDs in normal housings on low beam scatter light like hell, they're absolutely amazing offroad because it's like 2 massive flood lights, and the high beams are focused right on the road
I've been looking everywhere for projector type headlights with 50 watt bi-xenon HID bulbs and I havent had any luck.
mustangGT90210: have you had any problems with the po-lice or any other vehicles b/c of the scatter?
