I didn't drop anywhere near $200 on my HIDs, I went cheap. Needed the output for the backroads my truck spends 70 percent of its time on.

They're worlds better than my halogens ever dreamed of being. Great by my standards. I know a retrofit would make them crazy good but that's extra money. I did get an idea though for a retrofit/custom look.

Basically, cut off the whole reflector part, put a plate on there, mount the projectors and some LEDs and run them out a clear lens. Or no lens at all, I'm not sure yet

In the link you posted it lists several different applications like H4, 9004, 9007. You need the 9008/H13 kit. I hope they send you the right one. Personally, I would not waist the money on the Bi- Xenon. Just get the low beam kit and save the extra money. There is no high beam for our '04 to '08 F150's. It's the same bulb as the low beam. All the Bi- Xenon kit does is move the bulb back and fourth to change the distance of the bulb giving you a fake high beam look. I get more light out of my HID low beams vs when I click on the high beams. I have a '07 STX. As for a relay, the kit will come with one. It's all plug and play. Make sure you have good grounds. Ground them back to the battery if possible.

thx skeeter for all the info.... I had gotten just the lows like a weeks ago and one of the bulbs blew upon instillation ....I just ordered the 8000k temp.... was that a good choice...? and when I ground em should I ground em both to the battery I.E + and -.... I seen a vid where the tech from Xenon just installed the positive to the battery and the negative to somewhere else( NOT ON THE BATTERY)..

probably to a switched ground relay which i wouldnt recommend. i have mine plugged directly into the factory harness with the adapter wires. i grounded my headlights to the rad support instead of using the factory harness ground.

heres were i mounted my ballasts btw.

I am looking at these by DDM for my 2000 F150:

Headlights (55W / H13 / High&Low / 5000K)
Foglights (35W / 9005 / 5000K)

My question is, there are options for "HID Harness - Dual in, Dual Out $15.00, Error Eliminator - Type 3 $15.00", do I need select these?

You shouldn't need the dual in dual out , the error eliminator 3 I am pretty sure you are not going to need as well, you can call them they will tell you for sure.

Don't get that DDM crap. IF you're goin with a pNp kit order from Jon_To here. He sells the complete kit and I haven't had any problems with his kits (4 so far).

Thanks. I'll most likely be placing an order with him this week. Thanks again.

Can someone explain all the hype with these Jon To lights? They don't come with projectors which means they are just going to give off and big scattered blob of blinding light...isn't that correct? Can someone explain to me how these are so good when they don't come with projectors? HIDs without projectors defeats the purpose of the lights...right? If someone convinces me otherwise than maybe I will pick up a set, if not I will spend the money and go with a set of Recon projectors and do it right.
