Size/Fit
I have 55w 8000K Hi/Low Canbus system for my headlights. But I need to replace my Fog's. What size/fit did you use? Are they H10/9140? I'm just too busy at the moment to get up under there and figured since you just replaced yours you might have an idea. Thanks in advance.

Had same problem
Hey bud, I had Healight & Fog HID's for a while and was having the exact same problem. In fact my problem I was having was with both at random times. I would leave my lights on auto and when they would come on it would be in random sequences as in (Driver Headlight/Pass Fog or Pass Head/DriverFog or Driver Head/Driver Fog) Annoying as all He!! Recently I was getting my truck I spected and the Hi/Low beam was not working on the Passenger side so I needed to replace the lights so I went with a whole new system and everything works great. I went from a 35w 4300K Canbus to a 55w 8000K Canbus and everything works fine. IMO when time come to replace the bulb again I will be going with a 55w 6000K though. Probably not the info you wanted to hear but hope it helps to know your not alone with the Off/On deal.

I know this thread has a million replies... but i’ll add my .02
I had a 2011 scion xb with oem halogen projector housing. I dropped in a 35w hid kit and away i went. After a couple years it started to get dim. I didnt know what was happening... I just thought 35w wasnt enough so I got a 55w kit. That seemed better and for a while it worked. After a while that became dim. I’m like wtf is going on there should be no way a crazy 55w hid kit should be dim. I thought geez maybe I melted the housing. I put my big ol finger in the light bulb hole and felt the reflector. When I removed my finger it was covered in the reflective coating. I removed a housing to inspect closer and realized all of the silver material had come off leaving just black plastic to reflect the light. D’oh! After further reading, it seems HID’s produce UV light that can damage plastic housings not specifically made for them. LED’s had become widely available by the time this happened. I ordered new housings and LED bulbs... bright as heck... and will never install a set of HID’s on anything again.

LEDs have come a long way, and if you buy the right kind and aim/adjust the headlights correctly then you'll be fine.

Are you using your oem housing? If so do you have any wash out or blinding on coming traffic with these?

Dielectrically 5w30
Bi-xenon heads seems to refer to projectors, so no, no glare should come from them due to the reflector housings having zero job in the light emission.

Can someone help me with a problem?
I've had a set of RaptorRetrofit headlights since 2015 with EvoX projectors, Morimoto XB55 ballasts with ignitors, and Morimoto D2S 5500k 35w bulbs. The driver-side bulb blew last week can't complain got 9 years from it.
So I purchased a new set of D2S 5000k 35w bulbs from Retrofit source and all was good for 3 days then out of nowhere both lights output went to about a third of what it was and the color shifted to more yellow than white. My XB 5500k foglights are brighter than the headlights.
Do I have a Ballast problem or a projector reflector problem? Both Headlights still power on upon every startup.
Thanks,
Edit spelling: The problem turned out to be burnt reflectors replaced with EVOX-R 2.0 and works great.
