LMAO.... Michael Bolton.

That movie is a true classic. Mike Judge put out some genius stuff there.

NOT SO FAST!
I got a call from G-Cor this morning telling me their online purchase system is new and still not set up right, and that there actually should have been a charge for shipping. Rather than going full bore on them, and having them potentially just cancel the order on me, I was tactful and negotiated a shipping price of $35 for two units. If it had been someplace like Summit, Jegs, or RA, (and/or I had another OEM option even close to this price) I would have stuck it to them, but even at $106.50 each, I'm still getting a good deal. They should be here by the end of the week.

I got a great deal on mine, but they were well into 300 for both. Think they were 168 each plus there was shipping, like I said well into 300 and that was a great deal. You made out big.

Welp I think the first big repair for the escape is impending...

Been hearing a plasticy/aluminumly rotating wobble (best I can describe it lol) for a couple months. Couldn't find anything wrong. Doesn't change with gears or revs. Well today I'm getting a steering pump whine when I turn the wheels. I'm assuming (maybe even hoping) these are related and I will probably be replacing the pump soon. Or better yet I just need to add fluid (for whatever reason) and we continue with the unknown wobble.

I had to straighten some things out as best I could until the new parts come in. A crooked smile is better than none at all.

That would drive me crazy. I hope it's nothing too big.

2100: I hate unknown noises. They drive me bonkers. Hope it turns out to be something simple. EDIT: I had whine in my '99,. added some conditioner, and it went quiet except for when the temps got really cold. Band-Aid, I know, but it lived several more years until it was "Johnny 5 grasshopper" time. (Since we're doing movie references.)

JP: Looks good enough to drive. Just go really fast, and zig-zag a bit, and nobody will be able to tell!
I now see what you mean about the 2WD valence. That just might work!
