That would be pure fun, back to the pushrods screw the ECU's. A blast at dunes , in the mud...hell, those things will winch up tree if you want lol.

Our factory piping is stainless ( either 409 or similar) on these trucks. Better than the cheap plated shiny crap that sells on the net. 409 will rust and look like hell on the outside but it's just on the outside and are very durable. The factory sections of pipe held up fine, still usable.
For the headers, - It's either coat steel 16G headers with something good (non rattle can lol) or fork out a grand for dyna-tech replacements. I couldn't stomach that for headers on this truck lol. Anyway, sent the info, feel free to hit me up if you need a hand or more info
Dude... you rock! I read it while I was waiting in line at Lagoon (an amusement park like Six Flags). I will put that to good use. I need to source headers for a 4.6 - IIRC, the 5.4 uses a different header?

I'm beat. Spent most of the day riding roller coasters and trash. It was 101 degrees most of the time, and man was that uncomfortable sometimes, lol.

Have you guys ever heard the Beach Boys song called Salt Lake City? Not sure if that gets much air time outside of Utah, lol. Anyway, they mention playing at Lagoon in the song. They played there 8 times back in the day.

The headers I linked you to are for 97-03/04 4six and 5four. But you'll have a hell of a time getting the passenger side in on a 4six. Also the problem with LT's and the 4six is they can come into contact with the front drive shaft. But these headers are different from pacesetters. I'll measure the clearances these have in relation to such. That way we can see if they'll fit for sure. I can do that next weekend most likley. I'm not sure how long these will last, he's the only merchant that offeres them. Getting rid of them, that's why so cheap....sold 4 sets this month so far. You can always go Pacesetter, I think they make a set for the 4six, I'm not totally sure on that.

Damn white, roller coasters, 101* and the beach boys. Sounds like you were rockin lol.

I got ambitious today, somewhat, lol, and decided to pressure wash the frame of lil Red. There wasn't much mud or crap on it, but still, it's hard to repaint it dirty. I'm going to go ahead and use 3M undercoat so it seals out moisture and such. I've used it a few other times with very great luck. I also used Permatex Extend to make sure that any rust would be killed there and then. I have 2 big cans still, so why not use it, let it dry and do the 3M afterward.

I am still waiting for the UCA's for Red to get here. I ordered them a while ago, and finally, the tracking says they will be here on Tuesday. About time. I've had the Lower's for over a week or more, waiting for the UCA's.

I'm getting there. LOL Slowly.

Whitey Those old Bronco's are really nice. That golf cart is something I'd definitely own, even if I don't golf anymore. I'd make it my driver to the mailbox. LOL. I'd be the envy of the neighborhood.

No problem, here's another, this stuff is a steal, - https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-76mm-T304...53.m1438.l2649

This stuff is 304 stainless through and through. Very high grade SS and a full 16 gauge. He's selling 4' sticks at that price! Really nice stuff, non magnetic inside and out and it's even polished on the out. Comes packaged very well and it's solid stuff, has a little weight to it lol.

Plan is , if that oversized Borla is quiet enough I'm going to move it up behind the cab and exit the TP before the tire...like the original 97 F150's were. That's why I didn't bother with a tail pipe yet. Reason being, the closer the muffler is to the Y the more torque your going to generate. That loopy TP they have on these trucks 98 plus robs these trucks terribly, plus they trap a considerable amount of moisture when the weather is just right. The system holds quite a bit of it unless you blow it out or leaks out. Iduno, -trying to make this one worth while, -eliminate some of the crap I've noticed if it's doable.
