Yes, overwhelmed at the moment. 440 that's a little loader isn't it ? Yea, I think the 450, 550 are the dozers. I got to demo the 550 one season on a project. Nice machines, that one is a little before my time, but I've seen them still in use.

Brew, the 440 was the end of the 420/430/435 tractor/crawler line up and the forerunner to the 1010 series,which was the forerunner to the 350,450,etc.dozer/tracked loaders
things got murky in the 70’s when JD released a 440 wheel loader and a 440 skidder.( i guess they figured there wasnt too many 440 tractors/ crawlers left)

Nice JD! Glad to see another staying up and running! I would love to get an old Oliver OC3 crawler but those are very rare and more expensive than my wallet cares to see. My next two are a 37 Model A and a Ford 2/8/9N
