Yeh i just read that one. I tried to help him out on one of his first threads too. I don't think he has even tried to find it before making another one.

Why not just add to the first thread with what you tried so your thoughts at least seem somewhat linear and are capable of cognitive thought.

Because it's not that complex and easily ciphered IMO.

Or were you referring to the other guy lol. I may be suffering a bonehead moment...not sure.

Oh okay, yea, I didn't read it all at the same time. It makes perfect sense lol. Plus I'm unpacking rotors and pads, multi-tasking.

Those excuses work?

Brew.....I didn't realize that it was your thread on the Expy brakes. I figured it was one I read before and was renewed. I just read most of the information listed.

When I looked into the swap, I found that the 97=00 Expy (Nov 28, 1999 and older) would fit the 97-00 F150, without any problems. For the 2001 and up F150's, it takes Nov 29th 1999 Expy, and up, to fit the 01-03 pickups. I even considered switching the front bearings to 14mm studded units, so that I would have 14mm studs all the way around.

Also, the steel pistons, vs the phelonic's, is a no brainer. The plastics hang up when really hot, so the steel is the best for dissipating the heat.

I just found a 2000 Expy, late edition, and ripped everything off it to have in case I wanted to update the front of lil' red. Most of it was replaced within the past year (calipers and hoses), so I took everything, including the upper and lower arms. Why not? It was free for the taking, and since it was fairly recently replaced, I had to get greedy and take it all. The ball joints were recent, hubs replaced with SKF's, and one CV axle was replaced and still shiny. Yeah, I took everything I could carry and put into the bed of the truck. I took him 2 cases of Miller Lite afterwards. He was ecstatic. Then he asked if I needed anything else. LOL
