My house has that older gray pex-wannabe stuff under the kitchen sink. That'll be gone soon. Also just replaced one of those lines when I put in two new toilets (Also both of those are Kohler).

The Kohler theme isn't intentional, lol. I'm usually a Moen guy.
Uponor Logic (Type A) flexible PEX tubing and cold-expansion ProPEX fittings, -

Gray stuff ? That's PB tubing used in mobile and manufactured homes...not sure if they are still using it today. Unless your referring to the shut-off /faucet/toilet supply line only. Those little supplies are gray as well, some make use of a ferro. They are used everywhere and use to be under a buck...cheap stuff.

Just got back from a plumbing supply house..Moen is still making the good stuff...just harder to find I guess.

I'll check out that video when I get back home tonight. I got a package for the Stang today! I saw some bolt kits for these to be put on other vehicles and some of them said they had vent plugs included.... didn't know what that meant until now....

White....that is cool that it has the vent built in. Now you can take the axle tube one off, and seal the axle from water and use the new vent. I like that idea. How much was the 8.8 cover?

Ok, add me to the list of ones having problems with this new app. It won't let you change pictures, without a major hassle. I had to drop what I was ready to post, and redo it. I couldn't change pictures then it posted double. WOW. And now the pictures post above the information.

I was cleaning up some stuff today, and found a couple sets of these lights. They come with a rubber stick on backing, so I think I will put a set into lil Red, on the tonneau, and add a microswitch, so when I open the tonneau, it will turn the lights on. The will be mounted flush (only 3/8 inch thick) to either the front or at the very rear. Front would make the bed brighter, while the end would light the bed and tailgate. Hmmm.

Cool,AK- The Undercover cover i have only has a small battery powered led- we have a battery multi led light with a mag base at the mill- now i have to figure out to cut off the swivel base and mount it flush.
I thought about asking the elect./inst. guys if they had a small mercury type switch i could tie into it with. ( but i havent got that far )- the weather still stinks around here-bleh!- so plan it for a warmer day!
hope you thinkers are all doing well- y’all keep your whistle wet and your powder dry!!

Now that would be a pretty cool solution too. I need to redo my underhood lighting sometime soon

AK, this was the best deal I found on it.... I've seen these for over 100 dollars in some places....

Is it normal for drums to not cover the backing plate anymore? Old ones went over the backing plate sorta like a lid. New ones don't even come close

It doesn't look right to me. It doesn't look fully seated. I want to say mine has about 1/8" gap.... that looks like about 1/2" on your pic.

That's what has me concerned. The screws are in the drum so it's fully seated. Here's my old one. Notice how it covers all the way over

Yea , you don't want water intrusion...they WILL lock up eventually. Wrong ones or something else isn't right. So why do the new drums look larger...and still don't fit right ?
