I did... lol. That bushing was not about to come out of there willingly. If there is a tool made for bushing removal, I need to buy one, LOL. Splitting it with a cold chisel is a PITA. Trying to split the bushing while not damaging the driven sprocket is a tedious task.... especially while hunching into the wheel well, lol.

Thanks JP. That's what I'm looking for, but NOT IN RED. I want a black or dark blue 5.0 4x4. Nice truck, wrong color. Thanks again for the thought.

Today I decided that Blue's radio was going to be changed. I took out the Escape Navigation head, and replaced it with one of the Android's I had ready to go in. I added the correct harness, and whah-lah. It was in. I had to do a bit of cutting to accept the bigger Double Din, but it was worth it. I even had the head updated this morning, and added the Ford start logo. I'll post some pictures tomorrow or Sunday.

Whitey....I've got a factory take out Escape navigation head if you are interested for your Escape. Mine's factory, out of an 07 Hybrid, but you would need to order the Utah mapping software. I only have AK and Canada and one other. Let me know. If not it goes on eBay.

Ye ole Escape is all back together. New gaskets on the oil cooler, and adapter plate, new valve cover gaskets... and a new oil leak. The dipstick tube o-ring has a leak now.

What does this all tell me? I might have a PCV valve that is plugged. I love Fords as much as the next guy.... but why, oh, why.... did Ford (Mazda) put the PCV under the intake manifold?

Eeeegads..... pretty sure the furnace in the new house has a cracked heat exchanger. LOL.... homeownership.

Hey AK, will that navigation unit plug right in to my existing harness? Or do I need to modify it?
