Nope...that totally happened at the wrong moment...(power outage). What can you do about that...absolutely nothing. They tried with the anchor...but it happened just too quick.and close.

See how fast that thing dropped...no time to say your prayers.....maybe a , oh shiiii under water.

Doesn't go like that in the movies

That same ship crashed once before, too.

The new power supply came , better one (250v). Wrong barrel adapter for the switch. Soldered another on...nothing like working with 22 gauge wire. Used that good Kessler 63/37 rosin core and double shrinked it. She lit right up again.

Returned the other switch and ordered the TP-Link fo not much more.

I took it as they shouldn't have "backed down", as he called it, because the lost the ability to use their prop and rudder. Maybe I'm not understanding him fully, however. I took it as, they slammed on their brakes instead of steering out of it.

They couldn't they were too close...no power no brakes lol. With the forward momentum and the current combined. Lose power and there's no way to counter that. They through the anchor, but a lot of good that's going to do.

How often would they happen to loose power right at that moment ? 1 in a million maybe. And they absolutely lost power, you can't fake that and you can see it. Then it came back on and lost it again. No chance.

Pointing the finger at those guys is wrong and short sited imo and nobody is at this point AFAIK anyway...well, almost nobody lol..

From what I've seen and read.

Washer is still messed up, it won't always power up. Unusual problem. If you leave unplugged over night it will. Not even 3 years old. The GF calls LG complains about it....next thing I hear, there's a repairman coming with a check for $140 bucks to do laundry elsewhere while he repairs ours at no charge...

Never seen anything like that happen....wish I was there for that conversation lol. She was surprised as well...

I now realize, this happened to me in my Bayliner. Hit a dock when the throttle linkage came loose, and my gal on board for the first time. It has a 350 Chevy inboard, called a 228 Merc. Was that cargo ship a Chevy? 🤭😬😆

Never seen anything like that happen...
Army pal in a tiny trailer in the rurality had his 6 gal water heater start leaking. He is not the type to check his anode rod, if any was even left when he bought it, despite his avionics work being on stealth aircraft. The plumber's sink always leaks, eh? Broke, I found the mfr and begged to buy some parts. They related that it is now manufactured overseas. I asked for any solution as I could not leave this aged vet to cold showers that winter. He said, "Just a minute." Came back saying most of their company was vets, and a unit was enroute, complete, and free. $600.

Edit; $400 now. https://www.amazon.com/Suburban-Manufacturing-5238A-Sw6D-Gal/dp/B01NBTVDBC

Nope, not that we are aware of. It would have to be a manufacturer warranty of course. I think that's only a year. It came from a scratch and dent warehouse...not that it matters. I never go for any extra warranties soo.

Fancy digital unit, needs a control board and possibly a power supply board...700 for both on line. Not worth fixing imo...

Curious to see how this is going turn out myself...I'll let yous know.
