You want a roots type blower for pulling power on the low side. Like Eaton, Whipple, Magna Charger, Kenne-bell.....
This way you break things right off...before even getting started. You know, closer to the drawing board....home.
I have read from ancient magazines that a roots can sap 50% of an engine's (original) HP, before it then puts it back, PLUS, once or twice the amount robbed... Effectively doubling the initial power, but it takes a toll Even at low rpm as it's a LOT of parasitic for the engine to bear.
A turbo has lag, is not linear (like a roots,) but has no parasitic except swapping the muffler's existing back pressure for its own, and no wear, until it comes into boost. Each to their own. 😁
Why is it so hard to find a good alignment shop? I did some suspension work on my daughter's 2010 Focus, and she took it to Firestone for alignment. They sent her out the door with a ~$200 bill, AND THEY DIDN'T ALIGN THE CAR!!! It's been an unending series of this kind of incompetence for the past 15 years or so, and I swear, I'm going to snap one day.
There must be more to it ? A 4 wheel alignment ? Why so much ? Well to get your moneys worth, it's a good idea to be there if you can. Or talk with the guy doing it..easier said then done I know. You need a good shop to work with and ask for the before an after print out's. You need both. That's helps prompt them to do it correctly... That's just to start with , did you get any of that info...did they even check it? Was it all in the green ? You should have gotten a print out that shows everything. So what do get..just a bill lol.
Yeah, wish they were all like the gen 10 150's. The 4x4's anyway. Those are easy to align yourself with simple tools. Never had alignment problems on the 150..that's because the tires wear ,road and corner perfectly fine with a neutral caster. Which falls into place after camber and toe are adjusted correctly.
No, they gave her the before and after report showing they did nothing. In in the red, back out in the red. This is just the way these go now. I'm sure it didn't help that there was an 18 year old blonde girl involved. Apparently nobody reminds these dip****s that 18 year old blonde girls have dads.

Then it must of been in tolerance in their opinion...or close enough. It might be in red but still be tolerance. To know for sure you would need a service manual spec sheet for that vehicle from the manufacturer. Because what Firestone might call spec could be false...in other words, close enough for them.
Then go through the hassle of going back ..demanding they do it right or get a refund. If all that's the case.
Just make sure you're reading everything right first...on what they gave yuh.
In and Out SAME RED can only (legitimately) be for inability to align due to worn this or that. Go back, to the boss, and say they seemed to have forgotten to annotate the "Out" with this addendum. Give him a *chance* to "save face." Might just be some new jerk kid. (Do they also sell, tires??? 🥴😂

Be interesting to visit BAR and ask their opinion on an approach. Some small chance they might get into the situation in one of many ways.

I wouldn't step foot in a Firestone or any of that type of place for an alignment.

Finally took a minute to get the "flat head" side of the tool box done. It felt like spring today... and it's supposed to be in the upper 40's the next couple days. Time to get a couple things hammered out!
