Son of a!

That is the worst Brewster. We also had two really bad downpour's. It was pretty crazy. Turned my street in to a river, and both times it was like someone shut off a switch and it was gone.

Yea it came down hard, the roof has never leaked before. I attempted to isolate the area and can't get it to leak. I've got a lot of can vents up there. Thinking about eliminating all and going with a full ridge vent. I'm wondering since it rained so hard that it might be that the rain was bouncing off the roof into the can and coming through that way.

Wow, I'm quite a ways from you, but yea, it did the same thing here, got slammed twice...pretty close together, an hour or two apart.

Sorry to hear you got showered. Pun intended. We had 3 inches in less than 8 days, so for us that is a bad thing. It fills our rivers and creeks. We have one right now washing away the banks and taking large chunks of land.

Hope you get it fixed and soon.

Not too much for slides. We are on fairly good ground out of the city proper.

And no, really, I hope you don't drown in your own house. I hate to see anyone have to repair their living area due to weather.

In those two flash storms, I lost some shingles it looks like. Whoever the asshat was that did my roof was a rookie and had the nail gun pressure set too high. The nails went through some of the shingles (asphalt).
