$15 portable GFI is preferred for aquarium equipment, to having no GFI.

They are all run on power strips with a breaker on it.
And they have a drip loop on the cords.

The kids live close to the schools, the village will warn them once to shovel the sidewalk before ticketing. They don't mess around, can't blame them I guess....even though the sidewalk is in the easement and considered public property. It's another law... and makes sense.

Kudos for that much forethought. Still, they do not equal a GFI. You strike me as a guy who knows exactly what a GFI does.

For possible others: A Ground Fault Indicator, (which can function without a ground,) acts like a breaker, NOT if a current limit is exceeded, but if what goes out the hot leg (black,) DOES NOT EQUAL, what returns in the Neutral leg, (white.) It assumes current has found a second path, even for a miniscule amount of electricity, and this might be through a hand to a wet floor, or such. Perhaps to a water pipe, to your hand, to a wet floor or another pipe.

Good for weedwhackers, etc, esp in very old homes when using outdoor outlets with no (now required) GFI, or as I, running an extension out a window, and certain breakable indoor water containing appliances. If access us had, a GFI receptacle makes more sense than a portable unit, but a portable unit is a handy tool for my truck. Say I stupidly drill into a waterproof and I'm using AC, or SawsAlling such a pipe, assumed to be dry.

Our Township puts that in our local newsletter/ news paper.
Clear the snow within 24 hrs. and keep the trees and bushes trimmed back from the sidewalk.
But they don't enforce it.
I live on a main rd. and my side street is a school bus route.
My neighbor never does the sidewalk, and the county/ city never does the side street.

Well, I can't say never, in the last 16yrs. he has done the walk occasionally, and the side street was plowed once or twice.

Have any of you guys ever adjusted your steering box? I have what feels like an inordinate amount of play in my steering wheel. I know you have to be careful not to go to far, but was curious. Also, if you have, do you really need to remove the fan shroud to get to it? Thanks in advance.

By the way, new idler arm and pitman arm, and fresh alignment.

I figured they did, just not as thoroughly.
My street was plowed once in the last decade. One year, all the neighborhood kids shoveled a good portion of the street. They'll run a plow up and down the closest main street a dozen times after the snow stops, just to really stick a thumb in everyone's eye, too.

So the entire community can't get out of their neighborhood to get to work, but people visiting from Wyoming make out just fine.
