I was just watching a video on DeWalt. They are revamping a bunch of their tools... and I am very intrigued by their new impact. It has 1400 foot pounds, and has the precision feature. That feature senses when the nut or bolt is loose, and automatically slows down the motor... it is effective for tightening and loosening as well. From the looks, it will use the same batteries too.

I changed my EGR and IAC nothing came out of the new Ford EGR. I left the IAC alone since it seems to work fine when I control the PCM to open and close it by 100rpm at a time. It walks the RPM all the way up and all the way down without a skip so I'm going to assume with the engine off, it's ok vent out smoke. It's either accounted for air or the valve shuts to a metered amount similar to the the TPS. Just guess's though.

I found a video where some smart fool pulled off the entire front end of his truck and swapped his engine without lifting it way up in the over the core support. When I figure out how he did it I'm probably going to do the swap in my tiny garage. That seems like the lifehack I needed. Feel like how we used to do the SN95's by lifting the front of the car and pulling out the subframe from underneath, lol.

My friend takes the tires off of them and lowers the truck as low as he can. He has the same HF hoist as me with the same "extra hole" modification.

I used my hoist on a 2005 with a 3V, and my friend didn't want to lower it down, so he cut the upper support out with a Sawzall. It went in, lol.

Wait, the upper core support doesn't somehow unbolt? You have to cut it up to get the front off?

Nope, he cut it. I remember cutting my arm on it.

I think the 12th gen unbolts though...
