Thanks for the inspiration. This is now a rule at my house.

Well, after some consideration and discussion, we set an appt. for Christmas morning @ 9 am.
Mika is not comfortable, and the pain killers have her stumbling and falling down.
I know each day she will get worse as the toxins build up in her body from the kidneys failing.
It's not right to make her suffer any longer to keep her here for me.

I had to say good-bye to Bonnie on my birthday, Clyde on Halloween....
So, Christmas seems to follow suit.

So sorry, Phil. It's the hardest thing we do as pet parents. I'm sorry it has to be on the holiday.

Not very in love with Big-Five. They've NO idea what a reel for a bow is (for fishing.) I loved our Kohl's, barely a mile away, right up UNTIL it *stopped being a KMart !*

BIG Sears here at our many crossroads in San Bruno. Caught it Dec 2019, buying shoes for my stepson's funeral. Driving too fast in a record rainfall/storm, almost to his new home 4 hrs away... Sears was closing, everything 50%. It was my go-to, despite everything available in San Francisco's Bay Area & me in the thick of it.

But I learned to love Caterpillar Shoes, work-tennies, waterproof with plastic steel toes. Could not locate more exactly the same dark grey without the model # from the tongue. They don't rebrand, but do sell companies a style that almost noone else gets. Costly if you don't find a deal or compromise on color. Lasted 3 yrs of daily use - nothing else I found comes close. Thin soles and hollow heels. Worth the price. Hate shoe shopping.

But no Sears, no KMart - an ERA, Gone. I still recreate the Sear's Ranch Burger from their Oklahoma cafeteria. Open face on a toasted bun, patty, topped with generous chili, optional cheese, onions Killer change for a cold winter's lunch. Try it. Dennison's is close to their chili. A sorta chili-dog, revisited.

It was a joke... read the sign going down (Kohls staples dicks).

I just took Ron his present I got him. Now I'm going to hopefully work on some of my own stuff.... the alternator harness specifically. I think the 4 gauge I got is going to work sweet for the charge wire.
