I still have my cheap lens covers from 2017. Are you in the full "ring of fire" zone? I'm not.

I think they said my house is around 90%. My Wife and kids went to where it was about 95% coverage. They didn't quite make it to her parents old hometown, where it was 100%.

I got behind a guy that was towing a trailer with a house pressure washing setup on it and didn't realize it was leaking until I saw it on my windshield. Now I have little white spots where I guess bleach had time to sit on the textured black part of my passenger mirror and cap.
Do yall know if there is a wipe on black dye made for this? I'm tempted to get the heat gun and see what happens but I don't trust myself much with that. Lol

I've seen some stuff that is supposed to work good called Black Magic. It's supposed to last 2 years.... however, I've not tried it yet. Just been eyeing on it for the 06 Escape.

We've been working on a Dodge 66RFE, and the 2-4 drum was completely trashed. So I ordered one out of CA. It showed up with a nice crack in it. This stuff really bites. Hard to explain to the customer.

that really does suck White. I know I would rather my transmission guy tell me and fix it right than to throw bad parts in.

I tried the black magic and amoral trim restore but this is more than just sun fading. The black magic works wonders on it.

One last mowing, one final driveway drag, and cleanup and Sta-Bil for winter (tractor and PW only, of course). Blew out the PW instead of using RV anti-freeze this time. Why have I not done this before???

And a nice sunset to finish the day...

All respects, AK. I'm an '01 5.4, (3.35 gears, 4x4,) owner, NTMe in 2018. Eng went for head gasket leak @285k.

BUT as I THINK the difference is it being a stroked 4.6, what/why were these problematic in warranty-guys' eyes??? 300&400k 5.4s seem not rare. TIA.

I've done most all drive bearings and seals, trans also UpBuilt (due to 280k fail,) 2" (unneeded) radiator, etc in an effort for a total freshening.
