He has two trucks I've seen. A Toyota and a Chevy. He was really busy, so he sent his guy today so I could get it done. I only texted him this morning. 300 cash, and it's waaaay better. I didn't realize how much noise it was making before.

The previous owner of the house used moly grease on the tracks - so that's what I used. He said not to use that anymore. Told me to just use multi-purpose lubricant on it.

Yeah, Moly is generally a high pressure grease. Metal.

I'd really like to replace olive the wheels on it someday. BTW, he said Jose will hafta come look at my door for options. Actually... maybe that's why he was taking pics of it. Guess I'll see if he calls me.

LOL, I 've replaced the wheels, well some of them anyway after insulating the door. It got a little heavier. I think you replace both wheel and axle. They were one piece...or something like that..

I took two days of PTO to end up with a 5-day weekend. Today I put up Christmas lights and trees in the 60° sunshine. I have just a little more to do tomorrow before mother nature turns down the thermostat and turns on the snow machine tomorrow night.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Ahh yes - good ole STP to the rescue. <LOL>
Wonder how high fiber grease would be, performance wise only, on these. Just - theoretically.

Nevermind me. It's tired, I'm late, long day. I fixed things so well, the other half will be gone for a few days. LOL! I'm spoiled from my own turkey and stuffing. They are sorta a fancy-ham, bunch.

That seems like it'd be easier to replace the whole assembly on each one. I'm glad I was paying attention to the door really well when the cables went wonky. That could've done some permanent damage.

Happy Thanksgiving to all... I smell like smoke already.

Hot plate adjustment needed...
