On Saturday, we disassembled a 4L60E that I'm pretty sure went down with the Titanic. Only had 4 pan bolts, no filter, only 3 tail housing bolts.... and obviously kept outside. Completely water logged!

 

so i have come to the conclusion that my former employer does not want to sell me a new truck

 

So, buy one elsewhere, then "stop in to say hello" driving it.

 

thats what my plan is if i find one that i like. Which thats a tall order right now

I just talked with him this morning. Avgas is more expensive than I realized, and that T6 gulps about 30 gallons an hour, but fuel-only is a BARGAIN!!!.
