Idle will be much smoother at 550 RPM.

This is how the slight vibration starts on my truck.
(as it begins to touch the 500 RPM line)

A few weeks ago I decided it was finally time to clean the filter, that went well and the truck seemed to like at 1st. Then it started running like shid probably 50ish miles later. ( I have a 65 mile round trip commute to work) I assumed I must have put to much oil on it which I've read kills MAFs. I already had a full stock intake (including MAF) from Pic-n-Pull's 50% off sale. I swapped them out and added a brand new Motorcraft filter. My idle is smooth as can be now, runs better than ever. So this one step did 3 things, replaced the (assumed wonky) MAF, replaced whatever the other sensor in the intake tract is (IAT maybe?) and got rid of the K&N stuff. Not sure which one was the magic or maybe all 3 combined to help but there is my story since you mentioned the miss at idle a few pages ago.
When I pulled the K&N CAI off the Edge and replaced it with the stock system, the vehicle ran so much better that way. Idle smoothed out as well as the off chance misfire went away. It was sucking air on the top of the tube and would get a drop of water on the MAF every big rain or snow storm. That's no longer any kind of problem with the stock system back on.

I'm wondering how wise new mounts are when swapping in an engine in a tenth gen... 250-300,000 miles, ya know?

If the engine is out, that would be the time to do it.

I'm wanting to do a big unveiling video when I get Frankie done. I've contacted someone about using music for it.... I hope they say I'm good to use it, lol. I've been working on this in my head for a while.

Probably the only "scripting" I've really done very far in advance. Maybe it's more like thinking it over than scripting.

You know, Did anyone even ask " What would it take to get you to stay?"?. That does send a message.
Did anyone ask? If so, yeah, they are a jerk or just immature.

If not, then an appropriate reaction. If I got that I would assume I wasn't wanted around.

I don't think he was asked. But there's more to the story. He could have one heck of a nasty attitude and last summer he quit and then came crawling back 2 months later. Fast forward 11 months he puts his notice in again and starts acting like a real Dbag to everyone. Thats on top of 7 years ago he put his notice in and that time he got an offer to stay, last year he basically told us there is nothing we can do to get him to stick around

Thats the reason why i think he wasn't asked. He could be a real a-hole if things weren't going his way
