Almost had a tragedy yesterday.
I heard barking, then screams and cries,,,,
Buddy and Mika had a baby squirrel.
I looked out the window and saw then standing over it, and it wasn't moving.
I yelled at them to go in the garage, and they did.
By the time I got outside it was up and moving, and Buddy was trying to chase it again.
He got yelled at and went back in the garage, and I had to go and check on the baby squirrel.
It seemed fine just scared, so I put it in a bag and moved it out front to the pine tree where it's nest is.
He was hungry and ate quite a bit of food, disappeared for a couple hrs. and then came back for more food before dark.

I think he is ok and will make it.

Pics of the little guy.

Kudos for the quick action and concern Phil. It sounds/looks like he was shaken up quite a bit, but will be OK with a helluva story to tell his friends.

My Buddy came over last week to see me on my birthday. He works for a gov't agency, and told me they were throwing away some Dell Towers at work. He asked me if I was interested in one. I said hells yes -but he didn't know anything other than they were Dell's. He dropped it by today, and I got into it. I saw "Intel Xeon" on the front, and thought it was probably Server grade. I opened it up and was greeted by about a 4 inch thick heat sink and 8 RAM slots. I looked up the max ram for this thing.... holy trash!!

It also has an Nvidia Quadro video card in it. Not too sure of the specs on that just yet, but it has 4 display ports. The processor was released in late 2014 though, but it's a 4 core/8 thread 3.5GHz Xeon. We'll see how well she scoots! Gotta get some ECC Ram for it now.

I did my part!

I just finished an Angus burger with vidalia onion in the patty, and toppings included red onion, BBQ sauce, french-fried onion straws, and cheddar. A grilled onion bun kept my fingers clean. Crinkle-cut fries fo the side.

YUM, YUM, YUM!

Wanna flight in a P-51 Mustang? (Yes, I do, but... ) - https://www.airpowersquadron.org/p-51-mustang

We're going to make arrangements to meet and fly soon! (My birthday is coming up, so that'll be a good reason!)

Damn...definitely no Cessna ride putt putt lol.

A P51 , Hell yes! That's incredibly cheap. The P51 and T6 are kind of similar, wings are a little different, P51 was quite bit heavier, had the larger engine and could out climb a T6 with ease. Straight out and level, it wasn't much faster than the six....maybe 25 or 30 mph faster.
Either plane would be a trip for sure. Excellent b-day treat!

Took a ride in a old Stearman, used as a crop dusting trainer plane in our area back then when I was much younger...seriously thought there was no way he could pull up in time going that fast...did that twice to me.

The sign did say. Take the ride of your lifetime with Crazy Ted.. something like that. Told him I didn't want no kiddy ride.. got that impression from watching earlier, that was probably all it was going to be. . Nope! Got the better of brought a extra pair of shorts ride instead.

Like this one but all blue, -

You should do it if in the area. Worth full price imo for sure, if I could part with it....definitely wouldn't turn away from 675 for 40 min. Dig that up somewhere....auction off the GF's pedigreed ankle biter if I had to.

If we don't get any transmissions.... this Mt. Carmel car show is a viable option this weekend. 280 miles ain't bad. (Paul and Chad have both said they'll be there)
