I own this welder, which has been fantastic. I recently patched a plastic tank on a radiator with it. (Comes with the welder, sandpaper for cleaning, and mesh for reinforcing - as well as a "universal" weld sticks, but it's black)

I would also suggest getting yourself a kit with several types of media/rod. This one is really good for what you pay.

I also have the hot stapler kit... I bought this for bumper repair, but it could also be used if your worried about a gap issue.

Not sure you want to click those links above lol.

They worked fine for me. I went back and clicked all three.... I'm assuming CO used them too?

Yes, Oxford White is the color. The tops were unpainted by Ford, and the bushing cap and base were black. Trying to closely resemble that as well as I can.

Over the years, this is how most of them look now....

Actually.... at some point, (91 or 92 I think) Ford started painting them black.

Hey white, someone needs to borrow the 98 for awhile. I should give them the pleasure. It's just temporary. Have to let them borrow your intake for now since I don't have a replacement for it....is that okay?

Now I have to empty the damn thing out...

Okay, I see what you were going for. The OEM look and they were the color of steel from the factory. You did right.

I assumed they were the color of the car factory...my mistake.

Replaceable parts like that aren't normally car color. Yeah, don't mind me you're doing fine
