Thinking
Must be seeing double...this thing has 16 spark plugs. there's plug wires as well ? When did that happen ?
Think I got all the harness wires repaired in the engine compartment. This engine has a fantastic fireworks display under the hood at night...blue lightning...the works!
Not a one day job. Most of my automotive tools are stored in the camper out the kids place. Had to get a low boy driver from work to drop one here. No problem, but it didn't happen until 2:30 this morning lol. Those guys are up all night moving equipment from job to job. Finding one in the area is the catch. It was either that or drive the 98.
Not driving this truck until I'm the knock sensor code is gone for good. The risk too great running the motor lean...referring to dangerously lean = catastrophic failure. So there's that and I don't have the proper analyzing equipment. Not chancing it.
Anyway, starting on the coils now, plugs and wires. Broke the very first coil hold down bolt (#5) and #7 has a retainer clip jammed between the plug and head. Can't get a socket on it at the moment. It's jammed in there good. Everything other that and so far is going swimmingly.
Man, I don't know how guys make videos of this stuff. I did really try tho this time. I haven't looked at them yet, don't how I did...maybe have something later.
Hey white will you edit these for me?

Took a big chance on this thing. Owned it 4 hours after it hit the market. I kept losing on these deals, 3 in a row before this one. Purchased it just about blind...that's not the right word, had plenty of pictures. That's what I went by. Being a southern truck and having 0 rust was most critical. It fit.
Salesman was foreign, hard to understand and didn't like repeating himself... So it went to text only pretty quick.

Really ? I don't know, most bail on me about this subject lol. But okay, give it a try. What's a good easy application or program to use for editing vids. I haven't did this since way back on Mac w/Final Cut Pro. Yea, long time.
What's the best way to send them to your DT without degrading. Would like to use the larger screens for this of course.
Editing probably wouldn't be a big of deal if I wasn't dropping the phone into the engine compartment so much during the process. Not the kind of fishing I enjoy. Pretty sure I voiced my displeasure.

This might not be the place. Is Tasca still a pretty good place for parts for newer Fords. Would rather avoid any parts problems. Replacing the ignition system thus far..pretty much everything.
The truck, - 2013 F350 SD Lariat w/ 122,000 miles. Although it runs just fine (unbelievably) and clean, the Ignition system is in terrible shape.. (btw at the very least the pics are coming later). Better just replace it all.
Question, is the degas bottle or expansion tank suppose to be black? I've never seen that...or did someone actually paint it ?
Prob not the right place again, still working on that. Downloaded the manual just now - 584 pages. I was going to print it but.. Should acquire service information on this one, mainly for wiring (EVTM). Service DVD's usually come with the works, which is fine. However, they are between 3 and 400 now. Any way to a better price ? Previous owner really hacked up the wiring in the back of the truck. Haven't tackled that yet. To give you idea on the workman ship back there, I pulled the tailgate for a better visual and a quick inspection. The camera harness port hole didn't look drilled , rather ported with a pick axe. Dead serious. While setting the T-gate down on a moving blanket and propped against the fence. I flipped it over before setting it down and heard a avalanche of parts or debis rush to the bottom of it. Put it back on for now, save that for later. Anyway, Service DVD now warranted.
Apology if you don't want to hear about this crap lol. Didn't plan on doing this here when the time came. Haven't found a SD site with enough activity to do much good yet. Need to get this truck solid before I retire..times running short.

I use Filmora by Wondershare. I do know that Microsoft just released a new "free" video editor called Clip Champ, but I have not used it yet. From what I understand, it's free to use the basic stuffs, and you can add other features for $$$.
I've had it since version 8, and it's up to 12 now. Back then, it would let you play around and kick the tires before buying it.
