The old ZF5 Granny gear was a ratio of 5.72:1, the ZF6 was 5.79:1, and this Bronco has a ratio of 6.588:1, that's pretty damn low!

I keep trying to get my sister's new Wildtrak Bronco to play with.
It's on 35's from the factory.

I see the order I put in for badges arrived. lol
I tried to figure out how to do it but can't as a Moderator.
I reached out to an Admin and got the ball rolling and he was on it ! ( Thanks Marty)

( Sorry Jbrew they don't offer a 15 yr. I asked)

Wonder if MORR inspired that crawler gear...

Man,
Bronco sucks down the go juice....

All that $ and my ancient F150 gets the same highway mileage....

Bronco does look cooler though.

You would think it could do better than that. Must be those 35" tires.

That's crazy the 4 banger is worse than the V6 and the Bronco is worse than an F150 WTF?

Well, The thing starts at 4900 lbs and is somewhat brick shaped. With big heavy tires.
That little 4 banger is probably worked pretty hard in that heavy of a vehicle.

F150's do weigh more but when viewed from above are quite rounded and I believe Ford did as much as they could to get the EPA numbers high on them because of their great numbers of units sold.
It has aero fiber boards underneath from the front to the transfer case.
My 2020 with a 2.7 gets an average of 22.5 but that is mostly highway driving on flat roads. Mine did come with 32" tires from the factory, but now has Cooper xlt 33" tires. The Hankooks sucked!
