You need some anti-spatter spray.
No spatter sticking = No spatter to clean.

Back in my toyota days(07-12) seeing a timing belt job done on that was major surgery.. wow. We charged a flat fee of 1500 dollars P&L

I ordered some last night, and some nozzle gel. That's supposed to help as well - but I've never used that either. The HD here doesn't carry it in the store, so I had to get it shipped here.

I was so happy when I found out my 1NZ had a chain.

I love toyotas. I've owned two and they were practically perfect - each needed literally one repair in 5 or 8 years of ownership. My F150 was supposed to be a 1stgen Tacoma, but you can't get a bad one here for less than twice blue book.

The 97's 1FZ-FE has a chain. It's also a factory shortblock and a renowned tuner-rebuilt head w/20kmi.

Now if I could just get it here. The scumbags that were supposed to have delivered it yesterday bait-and-switched me, first pushing out the date, then doubling the price. Now nobody can bring it for under a grand. I might have to fly there and drive it back myself. Very frustrating.

I remember back before i got my 03 ranger. I looked at a 99 Tacoma, regular cab 2.7 4 cyl, stick with 'old fashioned' 4wd. only had 25k miles on it(this was in late 08) I wanted that truck in the worst way but they wouldn't budge on the price

I'm sure I'll own more Toyota's. A shop that we just did the 4R75 trans for... the owner has an 85 Celica convertible that is immaculate.

I'd really like to get one of the 95ish trucks one day. My Buddy bought one brand new back in the day..... it was a sweet rig! Here's a pic... you can see The Eight Nine in the background, LOL. I'd only had it for a few months at this point.
