Not excited to be spending this week in Red California.

Even less excited to get up at 4am to get there.

Just the cumin and lime helped the rice quite a bit.
Glad that was good, Brew.

For the cilantro and basil, store it in the fridge with the stems in a glass of water (like flowers), and put the lightweight plastic produce bag over it. It will stay good for a couple of weeks.

I decided to put a matte clear on it.... it was too shiny.

It was still wet in this pic.... but I think I like how it turned out where I got rid of the bracket.

Dried clear....

Got the new PC up and rolling. Might get a better video card for it. It's only got 4GB of Ram. Was hoping for 8, but I'll give it a whirl. The card has a video editing mode, so that's pretty sweet. Only had an old 32" TV to hook it too.

Thanks for the tips, I looked for cilantro in the spice rack lol. It must be over by the basil. Basil and thyme spreg last only about a week in the plastic container. So yea, good tips!

Finally seen the Cardiologist today. This was the appt I've been waiting for. Apparently I'm fine now or going to be fine, came a long way in a short amount of time. Heart, kidneys liver are okay. The low bp and slow kidneys are to be expected for a time after something like this. The guy actually acted excited as he was explaining.

Went too long before making those important life changes I guess. Suppose to begin taking better care of yourself at about 50 , not almost 60. Took me off the lassics totally (water pills) and put me on something that focuses more on the heart. Have to start exercise now, since I lost the weight. Guess thats the best way...loose the weight through diet..then work in an exercise regimen. But dang , didn't expect to hear this today.

6 core..not bad. Memory is is most likley cheap for that thing. I'd want something high res for a screen though....maybe two. Good realestate is must...on at least one of the systems. That would make it complete.
