Holy ****... I did a fuel pump and module on a 2014 Explorer today. What a chore! Had to remove the damn exhaust, and the driveshaft. There's a pump on the right, then on the left is another type of pump that just feeds the other side. Both of them also have a fuel level arm. It's a really odd setup. Ford obviously didn't think too hard about anyone ever needing to get into this thing. Too bad they didn't put access panels under the rear seats like they did on the Escape's.
Agreed, It is listed as 4.9 hours in AllData. We did it in just under 6 hours. I feel pretty good about that with not having a lift, etc. That fuel pump test thing though.... seems like a racket to add time to the job, LOL.
