I guess the bumpers on my 97 are sissy as they are decorated with shiny chrome when simple grey paint would have been sufficient. Got it.
Chrome is hard. Used simply, it is not necessarily, sissy. Lil bits here and there where not needed, for an added frilly appearance, sissy. My bumper is chrome. I've considered painting it, but chrome doesn't scrape off like paint, so it performs a function. Frilly headlights vs round, square or rectangular, for appearance and not for function, sissy.

VERY good job!
Did you paint it too? Looks more satin or matt.

I'm torn on the brush deflectors. Chrome deflects scratches. Black doesn't scatter the headlights. Maybe electrical tape. Quiet down the brush. Renew in spring. Or a leather wrap.

Here's the real sissy feature:

U.S. to require automatic emergency braking on new vehicles

I wonder if that will blunder as much as traction control does.

You know it will. It went off in a parking lot in my wife '21 Edge for no reason whatsoever. Mandating it won't fix it.

LMAO... none of the 4 vehicles that I drive have ABS. I don't even need that crap, let alone auto braking. The two Escapes do, but they aren't my drivers.

I went out and got that Ranger torn down a ways... then it started raining. Pretty sure this leakage is all caused from a bad PCV valve.
