Could be worse, noisy fan clutch is much more irritating.

 

I took care of that when I deleted the clutch fan.

 

My Super Duty belt started squeaking when I hammered it and it down shifted.
I replaced the belt and it stopped.
You can spray a little soap and water mix on the belt away from any pulleys when its running.
If it's the belt squeaking it will go away for a couple minutes until it dries.
If the squeaking does not stop, shoot a shot of penetrating oil at the center of each suspected pulley.
The squeak should stop, or change in pitch when you hit the right spot.

My laptop just arrived from Dell for the third time. this time they replaced the motherboard and the OS. This ought to do it.

Now my backup software won't let me reinstall it so I can restore my files. What a saga!
