i think even SMA gave up on the gopro

my phone will randomly drop the cell network but say i have service, bluetooth won't work, and well battery life is crap now

 

I have no motivation to upgrade my S9, either.

I think he's using a Sony now.... might have him confused with someone else though. I want to get one too. I've been looking into it, but I've also coincidentally been thinking that I should upgrade my phone, and turn my S10 into a full time camera. It has 3 mics in it, it'll do 4K, and can do a 512GB card in it. That's a lot of video.

My work phone is a Note 10, and I've had zero problems with it. This Moto Edge Plus is okay, but it's been doing random half restarts, and is only the 128K memory version. Having 290-ish apps loaded probably isn't helping things.

 

Oh yea, you probably flew in to Detroit Metro (about 20 miles from Ann Arbor). Quite a drive to Ludington from there..about 4 hours one way I expect. The closer you get the nicer it gets.

We use to go up there every year, annual ski and dirt bike trip. Ride on the ice until dark, then hit the slopes at night. Much more enjoyable skiing after dark. Not Ludington exactly, - Charlevoix...Boyne Mountain. A little further up. Yea they get snow up there lol.

So what is that a treatment facility? Looks pretty cool from the air, place is huge.

 

I had a shi ton of issues with my Moto that I had. I'd owned several Motorola's prior to that, but switched to Samsung after that experience. It would often times call the wrong person, even though it said I was talking to the intended person I called. That was really handy, I tell ya.

I started in on these "shorts". Not really all that sure what I'm doing yet.

So... I've been going to the same dentist since roughly 1993-1994ish. He's actually become a really good friend of the family along the way. He's in SLC, but I still gladly go over there to see him. Anyway.... my Wife has been seeing this fruitcake local dentist, and they were quoting her 1000 dollars to do two crowns. She just walked in the door from seeing my guy, and he made the same epoxy repairs that he's been doing for me. He got both of her teeth done, for 74 dollars. I'm telling you... I love these new epoxy repairs. It feel way more solid than the only drown that I have.

 

Is this for a cracked tooth? My dentist told me I need a crown on a cracked molar and I'd rather not.

Speaking of dentists, when I lived in TX, I saw one who told me I had 7 cavities and needed two crowns. Mind you, I'd not missed a six-month check-up/cleaning in my life. I didn't do it, but went to another dentist who told me everything was absolutely fine and that guy should be (and was) reported as a ****ing criminal.

It's a great, new world we live in. Even the dentists and doctors are crooks and thieves.
