Choice would be Pex. If I was getting rid all that stuff I in that area I most definitely would go that route. Much easier to work with and quick. Keep everything the same for now...just a quick fix.

Pex would be cool. At the time, we were still somewhat skeptical about Pex. I had it somewhat confused with PB, which I had a terrible experience with at my old house. The PO had put a bunch of that in, and I swear it all cracked within a month of each other. All of it was just used as supply for sinks and toilets.... not like it was out in the weather or anything. I think PB is now completely off the market though.

PB brought a whole new meaning to the term "crack pipe".

I like the wall hydrants vs the spigots but they just cost so much...well insulated for winter though and you don't have to constantly turn on and off shutoffs...

This is what we've come to in "country music"? Damn... metal is my main squeeze, but this is a damned abomination.

Must be some major update happening..." Outlook settings are out of date". That's the comp. Earlier the phone had one as well. Microsoft thing I expect.

That was a fairly long skeptical time but it panned out for sure. Honestly haven't heard of PB or come across it that I know of. A little surprised at that.

Well, doesn't seem like anyone is picking up my spelling of spicket up there...I'll give it a reast.

EDIT: After thinking about it more, thought maybe you were referring to cpvc ? But nope, that's different too. That's one I haven't used either, always new it was available though. Perhaps they didn't use the PB in the north ? I don't know.

My grandpa spelt it that way...not something crucial anyway...both ways are recognizable....

Yep...spellcheck gave me the red eye right off, but I ignore it.

English is the most bastardized language in the world, which is to say that anything you make up pretty much works...

It's why the Spanish just copy us for the weird words...
The original spigot predated plumbing anyway because they were used on beer kegs...
