so my best friends grandfather passed away yesterday, he called me last night and wanted to call in a big favor he said. His grandfather was an avid car collector, has a 48 F3, 3 56 fords(yellow and white fairlane 2 dr hardtop, red and white crown vic, and a blue and white 4 dr fairlane hardtop) a 63 F100, and a 63 Riviera. He wants to have all the cars in the procession, and asked me if i would drive the blue and white, i said absolutely. I had a pretty good relationship with his grandfather and they see me and the wife like family.

see below for pictures,

That's quite an honor, DJ. Sorry for your loss, my friend.

Sorry to hear that DJ, It's cool that you will be driving his cars in the procession.

I'm trying to get my Buddy a job at my work. He received unfortunate news that his employer is folding up shop at the end of the year. He interviewed with another friend of mine yesterday (my old boss).... so hopefully that helps

Torsion spring snapped on the garage door so I got to play musical cars and the Novas battery was DOA. Ah the memories of the old days when we'd have to panic when something went wrong and we had to get to formation. :P Now we get to laugh it off.

Sometimes procrastination pays off. The head of maintenance/electrician at work told me he now had some 2 inch square tube in the scrap pile.... so I just got a couple pieces of 2 inch, both about 3 to 4 feet long (just using my eyecrometer). Now I've got a little project to complete!! And, I will try using the Lincoln that I just refurb'd.
