Woke up and it was still running, LOL. About 3/4 of an inch above the piece, and I thought something was wrong with it. Turns out, it ran out of the "test" filament that came with it. Soooo... this is where it got to, LOL. Cool, but I'm not so sure it's something that I'll remake. My Wife also bought me a box of filament.... runs about 6 bucks a roll, so fairly cheap.
I already have a part I'll be making for Frankie. These are only about 10 dollars from LMR, but hey.... I'll see what this one looks like. It's a free file that someone uploaded to Thingiverse.

I'll be, had no idea such a thing existed. So you supply the filament, design and it creates for yuh ? That would be handy for sure.
Are you doing your own designs or just downloading files, white?
Someone had already created it, so I took the drawing and made it into a gcode file. I'll start making my own stuff though, I started a Fusion 360 account... which is where we created my centering cone.

Yep, exactly. This particular printer will print PLA, ABS, or PETG filament. I only have PLA right now. This turned out OK though.... it holds it, LOL.
I just ordered some black this morning that is supposed to be really high quality stuff. This blue material I used for the hood prop holder seems to be more "hobby" related.
EDIT: I think my suspicion is correct after I went to look at what my Wife bought me. I think this pic solidifies my thoughts that this is a "hobby" aka "toy" intended material.

That's what I was getting to next - what program(s) do you use with these things? The last I knew, a seat of 3D modelling software cost more than a machine like this.
I'm using a combo of programs right now... Autodesk's TinkerCAD and Fusion 360, and Voxelmaker. All of that is freeware... Fusion 360 is free as long as it is being used as "private/individual" purposes.
