Thinking
Ohio....
The neat part about that is, we are inheriting a lot of bad drivers from the #2 state. Couple that with the fact that most of them have never driven in snow with already shiddy driving skills, and you've got your number one state right here!
We also have a lot of Idaho transplants, and their track record sucks too.

DJ, is that your house - or work?

Not a bad job if don't have a lot of rust to contend with.
For any of you needing 8.8 clutches for Trak-Lok, I just found these for the cheapest I've seen them in years! 50 dollars, shipped.

I did manage to get a Motorcraft pump from Amazon. No one else has them in stock. The local dealer first confirmed they were on backorder, then later said they were out of production (even though they still show as a BO part on Ford Parts) and suggested NAPA (they carry a Delphi and they state it's the actual OEM mfr). Nevertheless, it looks like the days are numbered for this one.
I also learned that you have to be super-careful when ordering, no matter from where. Even Ford Parts will tell you that a pump that doesn't actually fit does, and the actual fit is based on wheelbase. Maybe they both work, but I don't want to find out the hard way they don't. The correct p/n for my 139" wb truck is PFS104 (9H307.
My commute is dead on 70 miles to and from work each day. The Toyota is right on the nose.
I've driven the truck a few times lately, and I already knew that it was off a bit. So I did a GPS comparison the past couple days. The 70 real miles is registering as 64.2 on the F150. So, it's approximately 9% off. I usually get 14 - 15.5 mpg by doing the math on the current odometer reading.
Now... If I'm accurate, the corrected math puts Hoss at 15.3 to 16.9 mpg. Not horrible for a 25 year old truck.
