Same. I dismissed fuel because it seemed too *on/off" to be fuel.

So you think fuel pump is right or is there something else to look at first? If yes, Motorcraft only, right?

When the pumps go , they will start to lock up periodically. You have to catch it in the act...test it then. Specially if the pressure is good when it's working.

Sounds like you found it.

I did catch it in the act. Barely made it home today and it was still acting up with the pressure gauge installed. It wouldn't be just a regulator, would it?

Doubt it. Disconnect it. Test w/vac and without.

Motorcraft only for me AFA the pump. They're pricey tho. If I remember right AK and White had good luck with others.

They're getting scarce. I'll find one (I think). I'd rather spend a few extra now than do it a 2nd time. Not looking forward to this one, even the 1st time.

Good morning, all.

That Fix will bring miles of smiles to the new owner, I'm sure. Nice job on the detail, Phil.

COS - Glad you found your gremlin.

White - You've apparently not been wrong with your "bad Utah drivers" comments. - https://quotewizard.com/news/the-bes...ivers-by-state

Have a great week, everyone!
