That hammer is a beast, yea I'd just buy vs the rental fee as well. It comes with an extra set of brushes...must go throughbrushes I guess lol,

So, they want 3400 for the truck complete. Truck was under water. Seems kind of steep, - calling me back on the body alone. Thought it would be easier, cheaper just buying the truck. He didn't think so, they'll remove the parts...that'll work to.

Have to do the bearings on the trailer before making that trip, better find a couple tires for it as well.

See what happens I guess.

EDIT: Btw, the business graphics are stickered...not painted on. He said no rust, it's clean. Spotted surface rust here and there, but very minor. I can't use any of the drive train any way, it's a 4six w 4r70w. Our 98 drivetrain is solid. Went through both axles recently. Front axle was like new inside when I went through it while replacing a busted housing after running trailer jack on highway. Still has the original fork, never a 4x4 problem other than vacuum hose replacement from dry rot. Truck still has the original zerkless u-joints. Engine has never used oil at 367,000 miles, it'll most likley need replacing soon I expect. I don't mind doing that though when the time comes. E4OD is in excellent shape as well.

Does it sound like I'm trying to talk myself into this ? Haha. I don't know, every time I look at that truck they have there I see gold...event the front clip is straight and aligned correctly. Want that front bumper as well. If I'm going to do it , found the right candidate I think.

Looks like they yanked that truck out of the water by the steering wheel...something was hooked to it lol.

What do you guys think about 3400..is he high ? No call back or text yet on just the body.

AK did you look at it..what do you think ?

EDIT: Yea Brew, when I saw it came with brushes, I was sold on the extended 2 year warranty, LOL. I figure if I use it twice, it's paid for itself. I used my neighbors Makita on the last one (didn't want to ask him again) and I seriously think this did a better job breaking it up. Plus it's lighter than his Makita. That Makita came with a dolly for **** sakes.

Man... what a deal that jackhammer is. The safety goggles and "breather mask" are dollar store quality. The gloves worked well for me. Got both of the posts in. Probably finish her up tomorrow morning. I already tied them into the fence that I didn't take down.... that helped me get it all in the right spot. Also gotta winterize my sprinkler system, and put the A/C kit on the Wife's Escape.

As you can see, my neighbors are on the water conservation plan.

My neighbor just posted his house for sale. It's a split level (mine is a rambler) and is 1000 square feet smaller. He's asking 405K.

Cheese and crackers..

Just went outside to double check the amount of refrigerant I need for the Escape.... it's already sprinkling now. I don't know enough about A/C to be fiddling with it in the rain. Seems to me like that might be a bad idea to replace the drier when it's raining. I dunno... shrug.

So, I decided I'd mess around with the new 3M wax/polish kit I ordered. This is what I ordered:

This is what I got. @Phil48315 @Jbrew is this the same stuff? Doesn't seem like I should use it on my car.

Does anyone have the FORD part number for the COP pigtail? I have an offbrand set I could cut/crimp in but after looking at it, I think I'd rather repin it. (You can't repin the wires to the new offbrand connector.)

Also where do you go for diagrams for odd or small parts like this? I have the big PDF of wiring harness connectors but other than a Picture and a part number, they don't give the application. If I went through the PDF, I could find something but not know it was wrong until I ordered it.

Rock Auto is showing the Motorcraft number as WPT986.

I use Rock Auto for a lot of info. That said, I have found a couple of occasions when they are wrong - particularly when a vehicle has multiple engine options, and hybrid versions (see Ford Escape).

EDIT: I have used the O'Reilly replacement plug on my parents Escape. I chose not to repin it because the break was inside the OEM connector. It's the same connector the F150's use, BTW. Ford used that connector on several vehicles..
