I raided all 3 scrap piles at work, and found a decent combo to get started. I basically just need a centering cone of some sort... not necessary for right now, but it's an upgrade that I want.

This Malibu had a nasty death wobble when you hit the brakes.
I found the majority of it.
Someone put lower control arms on it and never tightened them!

Just talked to my friend at work, and he's going to try to 3D print me one of the cone adapters. We drew it up in CAD, and he's going to give it a whirl!

Don't even have it out of the box, and it's getting mods. I'm still learning my plasma cutter... but that piece will work fine.

The welds at the top were a little careless, but after a little run in with the flap disc, we're golden.

Are you going require a membership to Golds Gym to operate that thing ?

Looks like it might be tough. I don't know for sure though.

I'm finishing the Catback today. I am kind of suspect that the Y-pipe with the CC's isn't actually, 2.5". It seems a little small.

I also bought some stainless band clamps because I didn't like the old style saddle clamps they came with. ..well, the clamps they said came with them. When the Flowmaster kit got here it actually had stainless Walker style 1" band clamps, which are actually pretty good.

Love them or hate them, I'm a sucker for the Flowmaster drone with Pushrods, 4.6 & 5.4 engines.

I don't really care for the controller location so after I'm done with the rest of the truck I'll swing back and move it. I'm actually very happy with the Probe style thermo but I have the other harness on hand if something changes. I haven't hooked up the manual on switch since I doesn't look like i'll need it yet.

Here's were I'm going to upset @Jbrew I didn't just buy Exhaust Manifolds, I bought Shorty headers. (Don't shoot me. :P) I started with JBA stainless headers but then I seen Gibson Stainless Ceramic Coated headers for just a little bit more. That wasn't enough to make me buy them but the the JEGS website said the Gibsons were 14ga steel instead of 16ga so those are coming now. Unfortunately for me I have discovered Jegs website description was wrong and they were in fact 16ga. 16ga is standard for sure but I thought I scored big with a thicker and quieter 14ga. Nope.

I'll probably post pictures comparing the two if the Gibsons get here soon. I know nobody thinks shorty's do anything but I have seen plenty of 10rwhp gains from shorties. I know it's not much but every 1hp helps on these anemic 2v's. I did think about Longtubes but I can't find a quality stainless set with Cats. The aftermarket just doesn't care about these trucks anymore.

I'm not sure if I'm doing a Crate motor or just the heads yet. Heads would be easier for me and my closet I call a garage but I have no idea how many miles are on my shortblock.
