Possibly a crossover tube leak? I would personally use the 99 intake if you find that it needs pulled, since you've got it.

My Dad called me tonight to tell me my Aunt passed away this evening. She was my neighbor at my old house. I sure will miss her (she is my favorite Aunt), but the past 3 years or so, she's been in misery. Sometimes that makes it easier to take. My Dad is the last one alive in his family.

I'm sorry to hear that, White. I was really close with my aunt when I was younger, but haven't seen her, now, for quite a while.

Thank you, Ohio. I actually haven't seen her for a couple years, but I talk to her oldest daughter a couple times a month. I know that my aunt has been completely "out of it" for about that same amount of time, so I just haven't made it over to see her. Kinda regretting that right now.

If you want to see how the 3D print turned out... here's a shorty.

At this point, I'm assuming that any leak means pulling the intake, and I'll plan to install the one from the '99. Will FelPro gaskets work, or do I need to go with OEM?

EDIT: Anopther question may be: Do I need a set for a '99 or an '03, or are they the same? (They seem to be different at the FelPro site.)

I had never used hose pliers before until I found the Tekton ones on sale at Meijer a while back. What was I doing all my life? lol I want to buy a whole set now.

Yeah, I didn't even know they existed until this post. I really could have used these to get those godforsaken emissions hoses off the gas tank when I did my fuel pump!
