Got a few runs to take care of, but overall... I think when it's wet sanded and polished, it'll look really good.

Looks great, White!

Now that it's got color on it, I think I like the Cobra wheels better than the black ones. They match up with the gray lowers nicely. Speaking of "lowers," you should get some springs to lowers that thing about 1.5".

EDIT: And I vote for no stripe in the side molding.

Yeah... I'm digging it without the stripe now too. I've planned on putting a black stripe in it for a while, but started leaning towards leaving it off after I put the gray on.

It's definitely in the plans to lower it. I'm probably going to either cut the stock springs, or get the Ford Racing set. I want to keep the stock (or close to) spring rate.

This fall/winter, I'll be rebuilding the control arms, tie rods, and end links. Might be a good time to do springs and my SN95 spindles.

I scored a 2-spd Mark VIII fan at the u-pull this morning. Looks like this is gonna happen.

Or I'm gonna make some money.

Either way, I win.

Thanks Brew!! I need to figure out what to use on it. I have some Meguiar's polishing compound already. It's fairly aggressive though.... I think the most aggressive they sell.

I used almost the whole gallon of clear on it, LOL. Might take a bit to dry.

3 coats then ? As long as you have enough on it you gots elbow room.

I've seen shops wet sand runs in the past. I don't recall seeing them go over a the entire car like that... don't go by that though lol. Stick with your plan.

However I do recall them taking a buffer to new clear. Big pads with little product and very fast...I mean fast. They might do an area as large as a door skin at a time..no bigger than that. Meguiar's products are top notch now a days. That's kind of the trick though, knowing exactly what to use and who to listen to.

I'm sure you'll figure it out...if you haven't totally done so yet.

Did you have a little orange peel here and there to deal with ?

Yep, I sure did.... and maybe also a little combo of over spray. I think this'll buff right out, no problem.

As you can see ^^^ I was up pretty late last night. I was talking to my Buddy (known him since high school) about a few things.... and I was telling him that I'm almost sad that this part of Frankie is about done. It's been a fun project, albeit demanding at times.
