There are ways to "clean" a title. https://www.autolist.com/guides/title-washing
If you bring a car in from another state into VA, they do not check with the other state to check if the title is real, correct, etc. I've bought cars from NC and when they get registered at the VA DMV the DMV person examines the title for about 1.13 seconds. Then types a bunch of stuff into a computer, takes your money, and gives you a new title.

It can take weeks to get a title from an auction. Carvana and vroom are both in trouble for selling auction cars that they never received titles for. Allegedly a few stolen cars also. They just keep send the buyers temp plates.
Interesting... sounds like a couple states need to get their heads in the game. There is actually a very large Carvana warehouse just built right down the road from me.

Anyone who buys a car from Carvana, sorry to say, gets what they deserve. The car business is and always has been filled to the brim with crooks, thieves, and liars. Of course the car you get dropped off in front of your house, sight-unseen, is not the gem they said it was!

Well, After an usually cool and wet spring and summer (that our peas and blackberries loved) i guess the heat and humidity is starting to build up.

On Bitog saw a post that said dexos license on full syn 5w30 ends in 25 and it originates from Warren distribution.
But who knows who actually makes the oil.

I bought my newer truck sight unseen. Of course it was only on the dealer lot for about 3 hours from off the truck to the salesman calling to tell me he was on the way to deliver it.
Had to get them to deliver it to one of my kids houses and I met them their as they didn't want to drive all the way here from Richmond.

Buying new trucks at the beginning of the covid hysterics was (relatively) cheap and easy.

What was that Kipling said , If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs... ? That was a good money opportunity time for me on the truck and getting work done.

So, I was looking at my 89 last night. And this is supposed to be black. I guess I'll wait for this to cure and go over it with black.

It actually "appears" that it might be a vinyl sticker. I need to look at it harder when I get home.

Brew, I think you told me that you're a Jeff Beck fan... he played for Ozzy's new song.
