if you have a car like that, granted its easy to armchair quarterback, but i would have at least upgraded to 4 wheel discs with a dual bore master cylinder. That car from the factory only had the single bore

Exactly why I am pulling my brand new Mark VII/SVO combo off of Frankie, and going to an SN95/New Edge combo. The dual piston PBR's will be way better than the 76mm SVO calipers. Then my Buddy is giving me his S197 rear disc setup, so that'll take a little ingenuity... but I'll get it to work somehow.

And I'm aiming for 400-450 hp is all...

The stock brake system on the T-bird actually wasn't that bad once i replaced all the 45 year old at the time crap. The damn calipers were as big as my F150 along with i think 12'' rotors. I remember i had all 4 wheels locked up at one time because a light changed in front of me.

That car has 4 wheel disc brakes. 1:23-1:25 shows them.
Wildwood brakes, but notice how small the rotors are ?
He comments that back when he did the car the Hellcats were not out with the better brake technology. 1:56-....

I also missed that... I went right to the action.

Either way, no matter what the brakes are, he should have stopped earlier to look at the brakes and stuck throttle. It is indeed some armchair QBing I am doing, I'll admit.

When I see a situation like that, I just look at my desktop background (see below) and think of how I'd be overly cautious. As much time, sweat, tears, and money as I have tied into this, I'm way cautious.
