So... this happened next door, to my old house. Right in front of our friends driveway. I don't know if you remember me working on the 3V Expedition years ago... it was theirs.

Anyone here ever replaced the head gaskets on a 10th gen F150 ?
What would be the cost of such a job ?
do the OEM head gaskets last for roughly 200 000 miles ?
Give or take?
Roughly 16 or so hours of shop labor ?
Parts would probably cost at least $400-$500 bucks ?
Machine down the surface of the engine to make it smooth for the new gasket...

What else would you change on a job like that?
Timing chain?

Nothing. Just asking for your experiences.

Dorman sent another manifold, it's a little messed up as well...this one is fixable. Unfortunately I didn't bring barrel sanding accessories today. Exhaust ports are slagged, EGR port is high on one side. So screw that for now. Not that big of a deal. They could do better for those over priced things...not worth the extra. - At least they're thick, flat and true.

It's pretty much ready for the new stuff. Chucked up the old Y to remove the O2's...salvaged all but one. Ripped the threads off the sensor...stubborn.

Silicon ceramic showed up for the Y. Not ready for that yet. Have all the parts I believe...except for a O2.

Day 2 - was a wash for the most part, think it might rain anyway.

Oh, I did get the welder over here today. The TT is 55amp, - it'll run it through a dog bone off the service... Isolated feed.

I have never seen a 4.6/5.4 head gasket fail to the point of needing repaired. Some oil leaks? Sure but people don't bother to fix that over a little oil leak

I got the "new" modem from Verizon yesterday. Fedex brought it to the door, and I had to sign for it. As soon as she handed me to package, I knew it was going to be bad. The box is 3 times the size of the modem, and it had exactly one bubble pack piece in it. All I got was the modem itself... nothing else. I took the modem out, and it had something broke inside. I wasn't about to plug it in. So I called Verizon... they assured me that they would send a brand new one, and reimbursed me for the shipping - and shipped the new one for free too.

If this doesn't fix my issues, I'm bailing and going back to Comcast.
