My neighbor two doors down has a 98, same color.

Speaking of color. Put a little on these. Going to satin clear them after they're ready.

You most likley have all this stuff handled, have you figured reducer to relative humidity ? Personally, not sure I'd chance it if relative is above 50% tho..

Might want to start with something small first if you can, and if you haven't shot with the gun yet. Drying process is pretty critical.... test subject might be a good idea to see how things are going to react.

I'm sure you researched it pretty good.. definitely would hate to see that paint job go south after all that prep. Been a crazy week here, was meaning to check if you have a new vid up yet....probably way ahead of me lol.

Won't clear get wind damaged fast on a mirror? Guy who shot aircraft epoxy onto my cafe fairing shied me away from clear coat in 1973.

Clear coat has come a long way since 1973
Since all new cars are base coat clear coat, I would imagine the new stuff is pretty durable.

Ahhh....! So, primer, then clear base, the pigmented, then clear again? New, like my '01? Or new, like your 2016? Just curious, cuz I see so many cars w worn-bad clearcoat on the road.

Those mirrors do shine really nice! A whole truck like that could be nice! Otherwise, black trucks have gotten a lil, blazeé. And I'd need a secondary AC, haha!

Primer, color, clear.

Had an issue with the clear. I grabbed 3 cans, all from the same slot at HD. After the first can, I noticed it looked different. But, like a dummy, I kept going. Turns out the second can was matte. So, luckily the third can is satin. They look close, but enough for me to tell it was different.
