Luckily the engine did not lose it's oil and get destroyed.

DONE allowing unsupervised work done on my car !!!!!
I don't work at a quick change place...

pff!!!
That actually Is a valid reason to turn someone away and not an excuse . Not all lifts are created equal. We only have 4 lifts at work that are capable of lifting super dutys. You know what happens if you go over a lifts rated capacity? Bad bad things

I also don't understand why a lot of shops don't use kick stands. My Buddy always uses them... he's removing something heavy all the time, whether it be the trans, transfer case, diffs, etc. It's just a great piece of mind.

yep we do that. You pull a trans out of an F450 with a dump body. That's a lot of dead weight just handling there with less counter on the front

I hate when I am selling something, and get the "what's the lowest you'll go" BS. What a **** poor attempt at negotiation. I am way less apt to budge when I get this.

I'm with GR. I don't go to a shop unless I CANNOT do it, and the Ford dealer is the last place I'd go.
