Why do they do that ? My daughter purchased a G6 about 7 years ago, against my recommendation, it was a pretty good car until the head gasket went at 160,000. Got lucky I guess, she took care of the coolant and oil changes. Didn't need anything special diagnostic wise. Replaced the AC, starter, battery ALT, had coolant issues in the end. Fought with those before the gasket finally went. With the rust developing, wasn't worth saving. She listened to my advice this time and purchased an Edge. If anything goes wrong with that one, I won't hear the end of it.
Not sure about ForScan. I'm sure someone else will know.
At least it is a local car so I don't have rust to worry about.
Thanks, Brew. At 1500# it's a couple hundred pounds lighter than one with a steel frame.

Thank you, Bear! Now after tires, staining, lights, and other misc. things to get it back up to snuff, I'll need to find more reasons to use it.

Yeah, I was back in Ohio last week visiting the family, and didn't enjoy the 90°/90% weather one iota.

Well, I don't know about that. The smoke is making an appearance here as well. We can't smell it (yet?), but the sun was orange this morning, and things are pretty hazy looking toward the mountain.

Thanks for looking. If I have a problem I guess it is back to the old ways of guessing what that O2 sensor is doing rather than seeing in on the Forscan O-scope.
Ohio:
By the time it cools off enough to fool with the trailer I may have forgotten about it.

Between the smoke and heat, I've done nothing with my projects the past couple of days. I really need to get back out there tonight though... I don't want to fall any further behind.
