25 dollar guy is now up to my 75 asking price because he wants me to deliver them.
Today I've had two guys tell me how broke they are and how bad they need tires. I don't think 75 is bad for 4 legal tires and wheels. They probably have 10 to 15K left on them. I'm not budging. I'll keep them otherwise.
You are far nicer than me.
I had something for sale and someone makes me a stupid low offer or starts off by telling me their terrible life story I just assume they are grifters.
I ignore them.
Dealer ? ya ...never.
Those little screw ups/mishaps they cause are the customer's responsibility after leaving their shop.
They can cost you $$$ thousands of dollars in damage down the road with the customer not even aware to take corrective action.
Seriously ?? forgetting an oil cap to be put back on ?
What's their job there ?
this was caught on the next oil change according to my relative.
They showed me a new aftermarket oil cap put on to replace the one they did not screw back on and fell off on the highway.
actually what prompted the oil change was dripping oil which was later discovered to be the missing oil cap.
One burning question I have is how much oil was lost out of that engine ???
not even they were sure.
we're talking about a weekend driven car over 6 months....
