Seriously, don't stack it. Everything about that is wrong. Oh you could make all work if you had to. If you want to do all that for convenient parking, by all means...

I can't believe your contemplating it, at one time I actually thought you were intelligent.

Maybe a silly idea.... Why not just remove your bed, drive down there and just bolt in the new one?

Wanted to see if you guys know anything first. My AC is getting old, it may not work to much longer. Anyway, I want to take the precaution of not having it lock up on me. What's best, just purchase a new compressor ? I need an outstanding defrost cycle for winter. Not at all worried about AC, later perhaps. Working fine, but I'm sensing time is short for that, I don't trust it anymore lol

Thanks!

Then someone has to outsmart us all.

Well iduno, you would have to rig up the tails and support the filler neck. That's what bungees are for, actually, that wouldn't be too difficult. Yup, still a good idea.

Brew...If you are having compressor questions now, why not do a switch out while the weather is decent enough. If you wait, it may not break, but if it does, then you have to do the work in the cold or wet. If I knew it was going out or making noise early, I'd certainly change it out while the weather is decent enough. JMO, of course.
