Good morning thinkers!- its taco Tuesday….
in New Mexico!
Foggy morning here in the valley!- hope you fellers are having a safe day at your salt mine!-
Take care- gotta run!
Damn Amazon.... somehow they lost TWO of those breather caps now. I just had them refund me. I called the guy I know over at O'Reilly and asked him if he could get the Stant 10071 in for me. He said "I can, but if you don't care if it comes in a Master Pro box, I have one right here for $3.99 in stock - same part, different box". Sold! He put it on the side for me.

I don't know that I would want to use steel wool, White. If you can find a copper pot scrubber, a piece of that would probably be the best, because the copper, if it were to get into the engine, would cause no damage.
I didn't think to ask you this sooner: Why are you using breathers? Are you not going to run a PCV?
I am just wanting to replicate the pipe that goes from the valve cover to the throttle body. BUT - I'm almost tempted to just run two of these oil caps (pic) and cap off the throttle body nipple. I ran it for several years capped off with electrical tape inside. It was one of those horsepower myths back in the day.... I forgot I had even done it until I went to put the bigger throttle body on it. I'm almost tempted to take these covers and my Downs Ford upper and have my Buddy powder coat them for me so that are matchy matchy.
(Good call on the copper, BTW)
I stopped and got me a MORR inspired lunch today at the Maverik. Their corn dogs are killer....
